What about the so-called « English charm » of many villas in Wimereux ?

The presence of bow-windows conjures up some kind of “English charm” in the minds of French passers-by,
but that should not be the case for the stone bases protecting those villas
from incoming tides and preventing them from sinking into the loose ground of the town.
